Weedsport boys golf captured the Section III championship for the first time since 2003 on Monday at The Pompey Club.
The Wolverines ended with a score of 434, while Pulaski was runner-up with a 451.Â

Braden Wood led Weedsport by shooting a 76, which earned him individual champion honors for Section III.Â
Owen Jeffers ended with an 84, while James Lowery and Samuel Lowery each fired a 90. Andrew Powers posted a 94.
Wood and Jeffers now advance to round one of the Section III state qualifiers on Wednesday at Colgate University.Â

Weedsport 12, LaFayette 1: The Wolverines scored at least three runs in three separate innings on Monday in a five-inning victory at home. Nico Giacolone led the team with four RBIs and two hits. Alexander Seward, Anthony Tortorici and Michael LoMascolo each had two RBIs and one hit. Kameron Buchanan and Ethan Curry each concluded with one RBI and one hit. Patrick Whitman and Joseph LoMascolo scored two runs apiece. On the bump, Michael LoMascolo struck out five batters and allowed two hits in 1.2 innings of work.Â

Skaneateles 19, Cazenovia 6: Grace Marquardt scored seven goals in the Lakers' home win on Monday. Mara Stanton had five goals and one assist, while Paige Willard dished out seven assists and scored one goal. Lily Kennedy ended with a hat trick. Rowan Thompson, Claire Holden and Sophia Nichols each dropped in one goal. Ana Nichols and Sophia Nichols had one assist apiece. Goalie Brooke Coffey tallied six saves.

Auburn 6, Oswego 5: The Maroons scored two runs in the bottom of the 11th inning on Monday to come away with a walk-off win at home. Analia Baker sat down 11 batters and surrendered three earned runs in a complete game. Samantha Carr paced the offense with three RBIs, one hit and one walk. Haylei DeAngelis and Kailey Cooper each concluded with two walks, one RBI and one hit. Kamryn Rossi tallied two runs scored, one RBI and one hit.
Port Byron 15, Bishop Ludden 0 (game one): Luciana DeBois tallied three RBIs, three hits and two runs scored on Monday in the Panthers' three-inning home victory. Raelee McDowell racked up three RBIs, two hits, two runs scored and one walk, while Bethany Jump totaled two RBIs, one run scored, one hit and one walk. Sophia Staring and Catarina DeAngelis each ended with one RBI. In the circle, Jenna Jump struck out seven batters in a three-inning no-hitter.Â
Port Byron 14, Bishop Ludden 4 (game two): The Panthers scored eight first-inning runs on Monday at home in their final regular-season matchup. Bethany Jump led Port Byron with four runs scored, three hits, two RBIs and one walk, while Jenna Jump had two RBIs, two hits and one walk. McDowell totaled three hits, two runs scored, one RBI and one walk. Mallory Mills and DeBois each ended with two hits, two runs scored and one RBI. Brundage had one RBI and one hit. Jenna Jump sat down seven batters and allowed two earned runs in five innings of work.Â
